What a great summer! Don’t you agree? We just can’t believe how fast it flew by! It feels like just yesterday that we were at Wienerfest!
September is a big month for S’wag full of lots of opportunities.
First up we have donated pieces to help raise money for 3 different rescues. All events are happening on the 22nd or 23rd of September. If it isn’t already a national day for Dachshund rescue then it should be! If you are in the Victoria BC area we will have a piece at Doggy Idol, Calgary at Wienerpawlooza, and in Massachusetts at Cape Cod Doxie Day! If you are in these areas make sure that you attend these events and support our rescues! The people behind these events are doing amazing things!
Here in Ontario we too will be celebrating and raising money at Wienerpawlooza on the 22nd! S’wag is taking pre-orders for the event as we cannot sell at the event. Our friends from Wienerwares are also taking pre-orders! We are really looking forward to the event and to meeting all sorts of new people and hopefully seeing some familiar tails!
If you can’t make it out to Wienerpawlooza S’wag will have a few items for sale at the Queen West Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods Park on the 15th and 16th of September. (We will be at the SarahAnaDesigns booth since we are in fact the same person.)
We would like to thank everyone who has ordered their S’wag already and those who order in the future. 10% of each of our sales will be donated to the Canadian Dachshund Rescue.

We came across this casting call – CBC is doing a TV Show to find Dorothy to star in an upcoming production of Wizard of Oz…
And, if you know the story like we do, you know, who’s Dorothy without Toto?
So, they have a casting call for the little pup too!
There’s an open casting call at Woofstock in Toronto! Saturday June 9th, from 9am. St. Lawrence Market Neighborhood, Toronto.
They are looking a well-trained and loveable pooch in any breed. Does your dog have what it takes?

Wienerfest 2012 – Important Update!
The location for Wienerfest 2012 has changed! The new location is at Embro / West Zorra Community Centre. It is located in Embro, Ontario, Canada at 355644 on the 35th Line . Everything else stays the same! Same time, same great games, same vendors, same wieners! Can’t wait! See you there!!!

New York, New York!
My goal is to go to this one year! How amazing would that be!!! Dachshund Spring Fiesta in NYC is the last Saturday in April every year! Or they have Dachshund Oktoberfest the first Saturday of every October! My head is whirling!
